The chance of a visit came up when a trip was advertised by Felix/Swiftsure [Ilkeston/Derby area] http://www.felixbusandcoach.co.uk/index.htm The trip was to feature around 2 hours visiting Abergavenny followed by a visit and ride on the railway. Our driver for the day , Pete, was a former mainline fireman, who had worked from Derby shed, and did a fine job of looking after us all day.
