Derelict mines building.
The former mine office and living quarter's for the mine manager , which has not been used as such for well over 30 years.although it is still used for storage use. For a change, this was built by myself, using "aquired" McDonald's coffee stiring sticks. The framework was built using small wooden L section from B&Q and then clad with the coffee stirer's. it was then painted in acrylic maroon, and when dry area's of the paint was scratched off to show the wood underneath. Then a coat of very thin matt black was applied. The roof was covered with tissue paper and painted matt black and the window's were boarded up and the whole building was sprayed with Testors Dulcote. When i first planed on doing the building, i was going to burn out the upper floor, but have since decided not to do this buiding, but i did set fire to the window area of the lower floor.
