The first five photo's information , kindly provided by Brian Meldon . The steam loco is River Irt, built in 1894 as ‘Muriel’ a Narrow gauge side tank loco by Sir Arthur Haywood with a clever chassis incorporating swivelling drive axles. It was rebuilt in 1927 as a 0-8-2 miniature outline loco with a tender as seen in this photo. The diesel loco is ICL4. This loco started life as 4w Muir Hill Fordson narrow gauge loco. It was rebuilt with a fake steam outline body in the 1933 as a 0-4-4 with the extended cab and the four wheel bogie from steam loco Sans Pareil. Both locos nominally survive today, both have been somewhat re-built since the photos were taken.
