Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway .15 inch gauge 2 mile end to end. This was another railway that I visited in my younger days , when on holiday at Humberstone, but it has been totaly transformed since the 1970's. At the time of my earlier visits, the line was run by the Cleethorpes council and was worked by 2 Severn Lamb "Rio Grande" 2.8.0's. Our visit in september 2012 for the steam gala found the following loco's in service. 1 "Sutton Belle" 4-4-2 Cannon 1933 . "Mountaineer" 0-4-0 Van der Heiden 1970 . 6284 2-8-0 Turner/Loxley/Crome 2009 . PW3 "Redgauntlet " 4wpm Keef 1977 [on loan from R.H.D.R.]

2017 Part 2 of this page is from a normal summer saturday running day in July 2017 . By the time of this visit the museum is now no longer open , as the building is used for other things .
